Takeout: Zion riverside food centre.

It feels like forever since we've last had hawker food. 

Well, now that we've got a car, we can go get some hawker food anytime we want and that's exactly what we did today. 

For our first 'drive out to hawker center' mission, we decided to go to Zion riverside food centre. Why? Well, apparently there is a stall that does prawn noodles that is totally awesome. 

We also wanted to get some oyster omelette, but sadly, that stall owner took a break and would only be back mid December. We did however manage to get us some fried carrot cake, so I'm quite happy. 

The food was delicious, but I definitely did not appreciate that long walk under the scorching sun. Well, not so much the walking, it was just way too hot for my liking.
