Cream cheese french toast pockets.
INGREDIENTS.
4 slices white bread
1 egg ( beaten )
2 tablespoon milk
FILLING.
55g cream cheese
2 tablespoons honey
INSTRUCTIONS.
1. Mix the cream cheese and honey together.
2. Cut off the crust from the bread.
3. Flatten the each slice of bread with a rolling pin.
4. Take one tablespoon of the cream cheese filling and place it in the middle of the slice.
5. Take another slice of bread and place it on top like you would make a sandwich. Take note not to press down on the filling as you don't want it to spread.
6. Using a standard sized mug, press down firmly until the remaining bread has been removed and then carefully remove the pocket from the mug.
7. Take the pockets and dip it into the egg.
8. Put a little bit of butter into the frying pan over medium heat.
9. Fry on both sides until brown.
