For those of you who aren't familiar with Hakata Ikkousha, they used to be one of the 6 stalls located inside ramen champion at Bugis+.

A few years back, they decided to pull out of ramen champion and opened their first shop at Tanjong pagar. We did visit them once, but that was when they first opened. They have since opened their second outlet at CHIJMES.

Seeing as we had a craving for gyozas, we decided to drop them a visit at their CHIJMES outlet.

Just so you know, their gyozas are to die for. They're a little bit small and it cost $5 per serving, which is equivalent to $1 a piece, but I assure you, it's a piece of heaven.

Also, you must be wondering why we ordered rice dishes at a ramen shop ? Well, their mentaiko rice bowl has always been my favorite from the first time I tried it and it still remains my favorite till today. If you are a fan of Japanese cha han, well, I can only tell you that Hakata Ikkousha serves the most authentic bowl of cha han you will ever find here.
