Tempura Kohaku.
So it's school holidays at the moment and so we had full attendance today with our lunch appointment with Aunty Debra, Aunty Judy & Aunty Jo. I love their children so much. Those munchkins are really cute !
Our lunch date today was at Suntec city and it was fairly easy to get to by train, so we decided to train it there. On a random note - I attempted to play some pokemon on the train, but it did't work. I didn't even manage to catch one pokemon. Oh wells. Back to the topic. Luckily for us, we set off pretty early. The train ride took less than 15 minutes, but it was a hell of a long walk. Even then, we were the first ones there and even when they all arrived, we still had to wait for the restaurant to be open for the day.
Whilst waiting, we took a group photo, Here it is.
Today's lunch - Tempura Kohaku
They open at 1130am and I now understand why they asked to neett 30 minutes before opening hours. We were the first ones in the the queue and there was already tons of people behind us !
Now here comes the food.
My mum and I decided to share so she ordered a normal tempura bowl as well as a vegetable tempura bowl. What we didn't know was that the tempura bowl came with vegetable tempura as well, We just thought it was all ebi. So guess what ? We had way too much food. I wasn't feeling all that hungry either as it was a little too early,
A little warning though. They only serve tempura as the name of the restaurant says it all. So if you are not a fan of tempura, then I suggest you don't come here.
Tempura Kohaku is not your usual tempura so I reckon you should give it a try if you haven't already done so !
