团圆饭.

For this year's reunion dinner, we decided that we'd just have it at home. It was partly because of the ongoing COVID, but the other reason being the fact that there would be 2 seatings. If you take the earlier seating, it feels like you have to rush through your meal and if you take the second seating, it's too late to be having dinner. So we decided, having it at home would be a wiser decision. 

We were stressing over how we were going to keep them ingredients in our fridge or freezer and then my mum just randomly googled and came across Hotpot master. We read their reviews and it seems that everyone has nothing but praises for them. 

And guess what? They're actually pretty good. 

Our delivery was scheduled for 4pm, and to be very honest with you, I was kind of worried that it wouldn't arrive in time for our reunion dinner. Yes yes, I know. I always worry over nothing. So anyways, it arrived at 2pm! And it really didn't matter that we didn't have any space in the fridge as it all came packed in a cooler bag with lots of ice packs, which could last up till dinner time. The set that we ordered also came with extra soup base, so you don't have to worry about not having enough soup. The best part of it all? They make it super convenient with all them disposable cutlery so you don't have to fret over washing up later on. It's fantastic!
