Day 1.

About this time last year, we also went on a cruise, on the Voyagers of the seas and we totally loved it.

This time, it was on Quantum of the seas, which is by the way, the 7th biggest ship in the world. The reason why we chose this cruise was the port of call. Even though there are only 2 port of calls, we decided to go on it as Vietnam was one of them.

So even though the ship does not leave till half past 6 in the evening, we decided board the ship in the morning. Might as well get our holiday started asap !

The boarding process was a breeze and we were on board the ship within half and hour. Unfortunately for us though, the rooms were not ready and we had to go have our lunch with our carry ons. You can only imagine how packed Windjammer, which is only one of the many restaurants on board was. And it's actually quite a big restaurant as well.

But yes, it kind of put me off lunch.

At about 1pm, they announced that the rooms were ready.

So yes, this was be our room for the next 7 nights.

We then spent the entire afternoon exploring the ship.

Ah yes, you know what annoyed me the most. Even though we were still in Singapore the entire afternoon, from the moment we boarded the ship, I had pretty much no connection. So we decided that we'd buy the wifi connection for 2 devices for the entire holiday. It isn't the world's best connection, but something is better than nothing.

Then came dinner. Still didn't really feel like eating to be honest. I reckon I was feeling a bit ill from the subtle swaying of the ship. But still, I did have a little bit to eat.

Continued the exploration of the ship after dinner. Yes, it is just that big. By the time we get our bearings right, our holiday would have ended. Teehee.

And so, I leave you with the mandatory "All aboard" photo.
