Phase 1: Day 1.

Phase 1 is finally here guys. 

For whatever reasons ya'll have to leave your home, please remember to practice good hygiene. 

Well, for lunch today, we had Ishikari nabe. 

What is Ishikari nabe ?

Well, it is a local specialty of Hokkaido, where my parents are from. This dish is named after the Ishikari river where the salmon returns for breeding. The main ingredient of this hot pot is salmon and the soup base is miso. 

Obviously the Ishikari nabe that we had at home today was not salmon from the Ishikari river, but hey, it was still delish.
