I fell asleep on the couch whilst waiting for my mother to get home from the hospital and got rudely awoken from really loud explosions and then I realized that it was fireworks.

Yes, all this at the comfort of my couch. 

I was really puzzled as to why there was a fireworks display though. I asked my mother about it and she said "Oh, it's hari raya, maybe that's why".

I wasn't convinced, but hey, I got to enjoy the fireworks !
