So today was a very important day for my father. He was going for an interview for a manager position for a new yakitori restaurant - Gan yakitori who are actually the owners of Itacho sushi.
He came over to my place a little earlier as he couldn't decide his outfit. He did a little fashion show for me. He couldn't decide if he should wear the tie or the blazer or both together. I couldn't decide either to be honest. We didn't want him to overdress and neither did we want him to look scruffy.
We left the house anyway and took a bus down to Ion.
Whilst walking, we were still deciding on the final outfit.
Just before he left, we came to a decision that he should wear the blazer and forego the tie. And off he went.
About 20 minutes later, he came out. He told me that he was really surprised as the guy who interviewed him was a Japanese man who was the head chef. This made him relax as he could speak in his native language. How lucky !
As it was still rather early, we went to have coffee.
We were clueless as to what we were going to have for lunch and we just decided to walk around the basement of Ion where all them food were.
We finally settled for ramen.
So we went home to relax after a stressful morning.
And Tarou-chan pi made our day with his new kicks !

Yeah, he got the job ! Unfortunately, he didn't get the manager post, but he's the supervisor there. If you do visit the place again, you can look for Horioka san ! ^^
