Happy birthday Singapore !

So here in the UK, a service was held at the Westminister Abbey to pray for Singapore for our national day.

Before the service, we met up with Godmama and Aunty Laura for a lunch.

We then took a train and slowly made our way there.

The service was just under an hour long and Godmama and I were the last batch to be seated in our own private booths. It was pretty cool. Unfortunately, no photo taking was allowed in the church.

After the service, all the Singaporeans were made to take a group photo outside the church and as we were taking our places, it started pouring and I mean literally pouring, like how you would empty a huge bucket of water. By the time we whipped out our umbrellas and tried to take shelter, we were all soaking wet.

The amazing thing was, after about 10 minutes, it cleared up and went back to being all sunny. That's England weather for you.

So a bunch of us proceeded on to dinner at Imperial China down at Chinatown.
