Day 5 - Venice.

We did an impromptu tour today.

Whilst waiting for our shuttle boat back to the hotel yesterday, we saw advertisements for different tours. There was this panoramic sunset tour which we were really interested in, but we already knew that it was going to be raining pretty much the whole of today, so that was out.

So we went down for breakfast, not really knowing what we were going to do today. All I was looking forward to was my parma ham and salami.

After breakfast, we decided to do the 5 hour boat tour that covers Murano, Burano and Torcello. They had tours running every hour or so, but the lady suggested that we go asap as the weather was foretasted to get worse in the later part of the day.

And so, off we went.

Murano.

Burano.

Torcello.

Overall, we enjoyed the tour. It would have been nice if we had a little more time in Burano though. It was such a gorgeous place.

We decided that we weren't going to do very much when we got back. We agreed that we'd have a chilled out evening at the poolside to have some drinks.

As for dinner, for the third night in a row, we went to the same restaurant in the hotel.
