No more visits to the physiotherapist !

September 30, 2014
It was my dad's day off today as well as my grand-mother's second visit to the physiotherapist.

We dropped her off at the clinic and we went to get some lunch. Last week, we walked past this ramen shop - 'ばり馬' ( Bariuma ) and we decided to give it a try.

I can only say that if you are a fan of thick, flavourful soup bases, Bariuma is for you.

You can find them at :

So we received a piece of good news today - My grand-mother doesn't have to go to physiotherapy anymore. All she has to do is her arm exercises at home ! Praise the Lord !

We headed back home and watched a movie. For today's movie choice, I recommended paranormal activity. Seeing as to date, there are 5 movies, I thought it'd be perfect for a weekly continuation. But who knew that he found it boring and slept through most of it. Looks like we won't be watching the other 4 anytime soon then. After it had ended and he had woken up from his nap, he requested for an exciting movie. I browsed through my list and saw taken. I knew this would please him and I was right ! He enjoyed it and had nothing but praise for it.

We decided to go to our favorite tze char place - 2 chefs today, which by the way turned out to be really disappointing.

This is what we had for dinner.

All of the dishes except for the omelette are repeat orders. But today, they were horrible. My guess is the main chef was on leave today. The drastic change is way too huge !

The cockles remained as awesome as usual.

The omelette was just soaked in oil. It's like if I wanted to apply lipgloss, I would apply lipgloss, na'mean ?

The spinach cooked with 3 kinds of eggs was pretty much tasteless.

The hot plate bean curd was pretty much the only dish that tasted the way it should have been.

The prawn paste chicken - erm, I don't know where the prawn paste went to. It was like eating KFC.

Sorry for the bitching, but today's visit was really disappointing. But usually, they're really good !
