Happy birthday Jiaqi ! ♥

Jiaqi is officially 21.

She celebrated her birthday with us by having a BBQ down at east coast park yesterday.

David was the chef for the night and what awesome cook he is. At 9pm, I asked Darien if he had given Jiaqi her present and he said no. I quickly told him to whip it out in case she gets drunk and forgets. Her reaction was priceless. She kept laughing and laughing and the cutest part was that it sounded like she was having an asthma attack. Then Rhys's said "hurry cake now", so quickly we got Darien to distract her whilst we ran behind the pit to light the candles, which by the way failed miserably. In the end, we started singing happy birthday with the candles unlit and walked towards her. Lit the candles and she had approximately 2 seconds to blow it out. What a joke ! By then, she was crying tears of joy. Glad all her surprises turned out well except for the flippin' candles. Hope you had a fabulous time Jiaqi !

By the way, you have no idea how much acting went into this. I think it's safe to say that we are now all qualified actors/actresses. Oscar award anyone ?
