Nightmare and a half.
Oh my gosh, what a long horrible day we’ve had.
So, we were promised a one day move, but apparently these idiots made a bet with each other and that was it. All breeze, that’s what it was. Bruh, even 2 days seemed impossible. Well, maybe if they had like 5 lorries constantly moving, it would have been possible.
I mean like, if they gave a realistic time line, we could have pre-packed some stocks with us so that the business wouldn’t be affected. But noooooooo, they were extremely confident and we got screwed over.
Well, didn’t have much to pack so we pretty much just spent the day cleaning and setting up.
I must say though, we do get a beautiful sunset from the coffee shop round the corner. Would have been prettier if we were a little bit earlier. Teehee.
Spent pretty much the whole evening playing the waiting game. They had to load the lorry from the goods at the old warehouse and then drive over to Tuas south and then repeat this a few more times. You can’t even begin to understand how torturous that wait was.
And that’s not all, it almost didn’t end today either. But after exchanging text messages and numerous phone calls, it was finally done at midnight.
Just take a look at this dead town. I literally can sleep in the middle of the road for the whole entire night.
Doh, can we please never have to go through this torture ever again.
