Recently, with the virus going around, we have decided to stay home a little bit more.

My mother has been cooking quite a fair bit.

Today, I requested for butajiru, which is basically miso soup with pork and vegetables.


It's super healthy and easy to prepare, and you know what the best thing is ? You could put anything you like in there.

Today's butajiru had pork slices, cabbage, daikon, carrot and konnyaku.

There are also tons of other ingredients you could add in there, such as wakame, shirataki and mushrooms. The list is never ending.

And this is why, it'll always remain one of my favorites.
