Paris 2011 - Day 1.

April 29, 2011
Left the house house at 11AM for King's cross st pancras where our eurostar train to Paris was. We had a quick lunch at the station which turned out to be where I had my most expensive smoked salmon roll and the bread was inedible and by inedible I mean the bread was so hard, you could actually attack someone with it. So anyways, the eurostar left at 230pm and throughout the 2 hours, all 3 of us was napping. Arrived at Gare du nord at about 530pm, oh yeah, it was actually half past 4 really but Paris is one hour ahead of London.

Took the metro to République, where we stayed at crown plaza hotel. What a great location my mum chose. It was smack bam in the middle. So anyways, we arrived at the hotel and chilled for a little while. The room was lush.

After resting for a little while, we decided to go walk around République to see what there was and get some dinner. Walked up this street and my grandmother goes "Eh let's go in here", guess what cuisine it was ? Thai food on our first night in Paris.
