If you are going to Taiwan, you could perhaps add this into your itinerary. The sand sculptures will be up from the 6th of May till the 16th of July. At only 100nt a ticket per adult and 50nt per child, I actually think it's worth the visit.

Also, there is this famous Taiwanese rice box shop on the way out to the main road, so be sure to try it.
