Guests for lunch.
My mother had some friends over for lunch and that meant that I get to enjoy a feast. Teehee.
As weird as it sounds, the theme was half Japanese and half Peranakan dishes.
So, for Japanese, my mother made nikujaga, saba misoni and a mixed vegetable dish.
As for the Peranakan dishes, she made babi ponteh, papaya masak titek and a kueh bingka for dessert. Oh, and my mother also made some cauliflower fried rice, because apparently, we all need to watch our weight. Teehee.
