Godmama peranakan restaurant.

Today was my first time stepping into the newly renovated Funan mall. And no, it wasn't to buy electronics or anything like that. In fact, you'd be surprised if I said that we went there to have dinner.

Back in the day, Funan was the place to be for electronics but after the revamp, there are actually tons of restaurants in there now.

Today's dinner was with Aunty Christina & Aunty Mary at Godmama. As the title states, we had Peranakan food and here's what we had.

The food wasn't fantastic, but it was decent.

But then again, it might be because I already have the number 1 and number 2 Peranakan chefs at home that my standards have become so high.

And although their desserts were good, it just felt kind of weird as it was a fusion one, rather than the traditional desserts.

If you do plan on dining there, I suggest you make a reservation as the restaurant is a small cosy one with limited seats.
