Akimitsu.

We walked past it last October when they first opened and saw this massive queue. What's new right ? 

Since then, we have been wanting to give it a try and we finally did so after 6 months.

The verdict ?

It was actually quite good.

Tempura isn't something that you would eat on a daily basis, but every once in a while, it is pretty satisfying. 

Good tempura should never feel oily whilst consuming, and this was definitely a pass. 

Depending on your personal preference, you can go for the tempura rice bowl which is usually accompanied by a sweet sauce drizzled over, like my father does, or if you like the traditional tempura with a dipping sauce like I do, which comes in a set. 

Oh yes, do try out their udon as well. It looks super plain doesn't it ? But here's when the line - looks can be deceiving, comes into action. It was really really good !
