Unplanned visit.

As I mentioned before, my dad and I are always looking for new places to dine. As you can tell, we frequent the same few restaurants and are always looking for a place to add to our list.

We came across a soba shop that had just recently opened and he was really keen as soba is his favorite type of noodle.

We decided to go check it out today.

Unfortunately though, we decided to back out after reaching the restaurant's front. It was lunch time and there wasn't a single customer in sight and besides, the prices looked pretty steep. Like $9 for a miserly portion of plain soba ? No, just no.

Luckily for us, Ikkousha was just round the corner and we decided to console ourselves with our favorite fried rice and gyoza.
