Imperial treasure noodle & congee house, Hoshino cafe and Good chance popiah.

April 11, 2017
Every year when my mother comes back, I turn into her shadow. Just in case you don't know what that means, it means that I accompany her for the whole day wherever she goes, whoever she meets, unless otherwise stated. ^w^

Today's lunch date was with the beautiful Aunty Clara. The funny thing was, last year when we met up with her, we ate at the same restaurant and almost at the same seat. - Imperial treasure noodle & congee house at Ion.

Well, we had a little bit of dim sum to share, along with our mains.

The last time we were there, I decided to have porridge which was oh so good and creamy. Today, I decided to try the noodles and I really enjoyed it. It wasn't plain noodles, it came with dumplings but they were hidden below the noodles !

As usual, we proceeded to have coffee after. When we saw that there was a Hoshino coffee opposite from where we, we decided to go there. After all, their coffee is the best.

Despite being full from lunch, we just couldn't resist having their famous pancake souffle, which of course never disappoints. Oh and just in case you're not into coffee, you could try out their matcha selections !

After we were done, we headed back home for a quick rest before heading over to Good chance popiah for dinner with the Wee clan.

This is a really good place to have popiah. The ingredients are nice and fresh, although I think they should be a little less stingy with the beansprouts and lettuce but for all you chili lovers, there's good news for you. The chilli is super duper spicy. The only downside is that you have to make your own popiah.
