Taiwan 2015 - Day 6.

Taiwan - Day 6.

Sadly, today was the last full day that we had left in Taipei. I am so going to miss this place !

So anyways, to start the day off, we decided to visit Melange cafe where they apparently served the best drip coffee. We also planned to have brunch there, but sadly, they didn't have much variety of foods to choose from, and being fussy as I am, had nothing to eat.

But of course, we had our coffees before leaving.

It was a pretty nice chill out place though !

After we had our coffee, we boarded a taxi not knowing where we were heading to. We then had a chat with the taxi driver and we asked him if he had any place to recommend for beef noodles. He then took us to a place where he thought served authentic beef noodles. Unfortunately, I have no idea where he brought us to, but the noodles was pretty good !

As it was our second last day in Taipei, we figured that we should go buy souvenirs for our friends and families. We decided to go to Li ji which was one of the famous brands in Taiwan. I ended up buy lots of sun cakes ! I didn't get any pineapple cakes as I am planning to get them from the airport tomorrow.

So with nothing much left to do, we decided to do some last minute thorough shopping at Ximending. Managed to get a few things here and there, but like I said, wrong season !

Originally, we had planned on getting full on street food at Shilin night market as we haven't actually visited for dining purposes, but the rain ruined our plans. We honestly didn't fancy going there whilst it was pouring down as it would be bare hassle. Instead, we went to play 4 hours of counter-strike ! We chanced upon a LAN shop whilst going up to our hotel room when the elevator doors opened at the 4th floor !

By the time we were done gaming, the boys were hungry. We then headed to the 24 hours McDonald's which was about a 5 minute walk away.

Well, before I start packing my bags, here is my miserable loot from this trip.

Goodnight, from the last night in Taipei !
